MIG welder • Ife North, Osun State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Ife North, Osun State. You will work at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
