MIG welder — Ejigbo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Ejigbo, Osun State. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
