Blocklayer — Orange County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Orange County, Vermont. You will be based at a residential building site. Day to day you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
