Join our team: concrete labourer (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Des Moines County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
