Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Burleson County, Texas. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings On the job you will handle: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Full-time with occasional weekends.
