Vacancy available: automotive refinish painter (Washington)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Pend Oreille County, Washington. You will be based at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On the job you will handle: • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
