Garden maintenance worker — Keokuk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Keokuk County, Iowa. The job is at a landscaping company. Your main tasks: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
