We are recruiting: offshore rigger (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Elliott County, Kentucky. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
