Carpenter wanted in Danja

Immediate opening: we are hiring a carpenter in Danja, Katsina State. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day to day you will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Six days a week, one day off.
