Stamping press operator • Amherst County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work on the press shop floor. The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Part-time with flexible hours.
