Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Mitchell County, North Carolina. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules On a typical shift you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
