Elevator technician — Dickenson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Dickenson County, Virginia. The job is in a residential tower block. You will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
