Stone mason wanted in Ellis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stone mason in Ellis County, Kansas. You will be based in a stone processing yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching On the job you will handle: • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets 1+ years on the tools preferred. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
