Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Six days a week, one day off.
