Tailor machinist — Washburn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Washburn County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 4+ years on the tools preferred. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
