Rebar worker wanted in Ashe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Ashe County, North Carolina. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Your main tasks: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat 1+ years on the tools preferred.
