Now hiring: we are hiring a warehouse operative in Columbia County, Georgia. You will be based at a builders' merchant yard. Day-to-day duties: • Check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders • Operate a counterbalance or reach forklift to move pallets • Put away stock into racking locations following FIFO • Carry out cycle counts and full stock takes • Keep aisles, racking and the yard clean and free of obstructions • Wrap pallets with stretch film and apply shipping labels Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Strong attention to detail to avoid mis-picks • Reliable timekeeping and good attendance Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
