You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
