Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift erector in Hardin County, Illinois. You will work in a residential tower block. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On a typical shift you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
