Immediate opening: backhoe loader operator (Utah)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Wasatch County, Utah. The job is at a landfill site. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures The role involves: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
