Punch press operator • Wood County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Wood County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
