Road roller operator — Hampshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a road roller operator in Hampshire, England. You will be based at a landfill site. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; check for underground cables and services before digging; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £2,800 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
