Join our team: foundry operative (Ogun State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Shagamu, Ogun State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Pay around ₦10,000 per day, based on your experience.
