Kitchenhand — Merced County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Merced County, California. You will work in a hospital canteen. Day to day you will restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. Ideal candidate: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Six days a week, one day off.
