Precision welder wanted in White County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in White County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings We offer $200 per day plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours.
