Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Pope County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day-to-day duties: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
