Excavator operator • Bath County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Bath County, Virginia. You will be based at a stone quarry. You will check for underground cables and services before digging; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
