Restoration bricklayer — Alleghany County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Alleghany County, Virginia. You will be based at a residential building site. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
