Scaffolding supervisor — Queens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Queens County, New York. You will work on an industrial refinery shutdown. Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level The role involves: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
