We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Ikere, Ekiti State. On the job you will handle: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving ₦1,400 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
