Now hiring: we are hiring a lift erector in Clarke County, Virginia. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
