Argon welder — Chattooga County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Chattooga County, Georgia. You will work on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise We offer $160 per day plus benefits.
