You should have: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Day to day you will complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
