Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Thurston County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
