Falsework carpenter • Siskiyou County, California

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Siskiyou County, California. You will be based on a residential tower site. On a typical shift you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing 6+ years on the tools preferred. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
