Great opportunity: D6/D8 dozer operator (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Henderson County, North Carolina. You will be based on a road construction project. Day to day you will clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
