Your main tasks: • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line You should have: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
