Elevator service technician — Marshall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Marshall County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Full-time with occasional weekends.
