Shuttering carpenter — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Jackson County, Michigan. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations 3+ years on the tools preferred.
