CO2 welder • Middlesex County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Middlesex County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
