Vertical milling machine operator — Baker County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Baker County, Florida. The job is in a toolroom. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
