Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Guernsey County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Pay around $6,250 per project, based on your experience.
