Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Brevard County, Florida. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
