Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Sherburne County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 5+ years on the tools preferred.
