Join our team: we are hiring a cold room technician in Lavaca County, Texas. You will be based at a food processing plant. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms On a typical shift you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
