Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Humboldt County, Nevada. Day-to-day duties: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Full-time, day shift.
