Immediate opening: turning centre operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Brown County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
