Die-casting operator wanted in Jasper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Jasper County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
