Quality checker wanted in Nelson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality checker in Nelson County, Virginia. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols On the job you will handle: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
