Flatlock machine operator — Hendricks County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Hendricks County, Indiana. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
